2008 WORLD MEN'S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP NEWS CONFERENCE

WHAT:	Media are invited to attend a news conference to announce event details with the 2008 World Men's Curling Championship Executive Committee. Announcements will be made on the following: Ticketing- Information regarding ticket packages, pricing and on-sale information will be announced. Volunteers- The tournament volunteer plan will be released and information will be distributed on how community members can sign up to participate as a volunteer. Website- The Local Organizing Committee will unveil the tournament website. Event Update- Several other event details and updates will be announced at this time.

NOTES: The tournament will take place at Ralph Engelstad Arena April 5-13, 2008. The 2008 World Men's Curling Championship will bring together the best curlers from around the world. Twelve men's teams, all national champions from the United States, Canada, Europe and the Pacific Rim, will vie for the title of "World Champion." The 2008 event will take place on four sheets of perfectly manicured curling ice in the Ralph Engelstad Arena.
