ADA Services
REA offers many amenities to those in need of ADA services. Wheelchairs, Assisted Listening Devices, accessible bathrooms, and seating are all available in the facility. Please see our information desk on the main level east concourse for assistance. If you require ADA Seating during the event please contact the Ralph Engelstad Arena Box Office or by calling 877.917.4689 or 701.777.4689.

ATMS
There are three ATMS located on the Main Concourse of the Arena and in the Broken Broom Lounge. Please click here to see the main concourse map for locations.

Baby Changing Stations
Baby Changing stations are located in all public restrooms. In addition, Family Restrooms are available on the main level of the arena.

Concessions
A variety of concessions are available during the event and in the Broken Broom Lounge. Try out a prime rib sandwich in the Broken Broom Lounge or sample the featured beers from all over the world!

Exchange Rate
All Canadian currency will be taken “AT PAR” during the event.

Exit and Re-Entry
If leaving the building during a draw, tickets must be scanned out at the gate. All patrons must have a valid ticket for re-entry to the arena.

Entrances
There are two public entrances, the Main Entrances on the east side of the building and the Broken Broom Lounge entrance on the north side of the building. The Broken Broom Lounge entrance will only be open for entry into the draws during business hours only. The Northwest Entrance will also be open for our VIP guests only. If leaving the building during a draw, tickets must be scanned out at the gate. All patrons must have a valid ticket for re-entry to the arena.

First Aid
REA’s First Aid Station is located behind Section 107, next to the Security Office on the Main Level.

Guest Services
Our Guest Services desk is located on the East side of the Main concourse nearby our Main Entrances. Here fans will find daily draw schedules, maps and information on local happenings in the Greater Grand Forks area.

Hotel Shuttles
Several Grand Forks hotels will provide shuttle service for the guests to and from REA during the 2008 World Men’s Curling Championships. Contact your hotel to see if they will be providing this service.

Hotel shuttle service will run (1) hour prior to the first draw each day and will continue until approximately (1) hour after the conclusion of the last draw of the night at REA. Each day, the hotel shuttle service will operate continuously at approximately 30 minute intervals. Drop off and Pick up locations will be at the Broken Broom Lounge Entrance and the Main Entrance of REA. For more information see the info desk on the east side of the Main Concourse.

Lost and Found
During the event Lost and Found Service is located at the Security Office on Main Level behind Section 107. Found items will be stored for 30 days. To learn if an item has been recovered, please call 701-777-4167. Ralph Engelstad Arena is not responsible for misplaced items.

Merchandise
World Curling Merchandise will be available in the Ralph Engelstad Arena Sioux Shop during the entire event. Goldline will also be onsite during the tournament with curling supplies/merchandise. Opening Times
Doors open for all morning draws ½ hr. prior to scheduled start time.
Doors open for all afternoon and evening draws 1 hr. prior to scheduled start time.

Pin Trading
Pin Trading is a must at every curling event! We will have a pin trading location available on our Main Concourse for those looking to partake in this curling tradition.

Parking
Pay Parking lots are available on-site for fans. Full Event Parking passes are available at the Ralph Engelstad Arena Box Office or by calling 877.917.4689 or 701.777.4689 or online. View Parking Map. Full event parking passes are $50.00.

Single day parking passes are $5.00 per vehicle. Single day parking passes are not available in advance and may be purchased the day of your visit at any REA Parking Lot entrance. Click here for the 2008 World Men’s Curling Championship parking map.

Take advantage of FREE PARKING in the morning! Pay parking does not begin until 1:00 pm Monday through Friday and 12:00 pm on the last weekend of the tournament. Come early, stay all day and never have to pay for parking!

Parking (Accessible)
ADA parking is available onsite free of charge. Please ask a parking attendant for assistance and you will be directed to these locations.

Hotel Shuttle Service:

The hotel shuttle service provides shuttle service to hotel guests from their hotels in the Grand Forks and East Grand Forks area to the Ralph Engelstad Arena. Hotel shuttle service will provide service beginning one (1) hour prior to the first draw each day and will continue until approximately one (1) hour after the conclusion of the last draw of the night at the REA. Two Pick Up and Drop Off Locations at REA:

There will be two drop-off and pick up locations at the Ralph Engelstad Arena complex. The shuttle will stop at each location as it arrives and departs from the Arena:

1-Flagpoles at the front of the facility (East side of facility)

2-Broken Broom Lounge entrance (North side of facility)

Cities Area Transit (CAT):

This bus service provides public transportation fixed route service throughout the Grand Forks and East Grand Forks area.

-Bus service is provided Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 as to 6:00 pm.

-Night bus service (one route/one bus) Monday through Saturday, 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

RV Parking
RV Parking is available onsite in REA’s east lots. Please click here for a parking lot map. A full event RV Parking Pass is $50.00 and a single day pass is $5.00. Please call ahead to reserve a space as this parking is limited. All spots are first come, first serve after April 4th, 2008. Please contact the Event Management Staff at 701.777.6648 to reserve your space.

Security Searches
All Guests are subject to a security search before entering the event. This is done for all of our guests’ safety. Prohibited items include outside food and beverage, video cameras, weapons, noisemakers, projectiles, etc. If entering with the above items you may be asked to return these to your vehicle or have them confiscated. Should you have a questionable item, please check in with the main office prior to the draw you will be attending for permission. We do allow outside food and beverage for those with special medical conditions.

Smoking
Ralph Engelstad Arena is a smoke free facility. A designated smoking area is available for our guests outside the Main Entrance and Broken Broom Lounge Entrance, please ask a guest services member for assistance.


Television Coverage
There is no live television coverage of the event in the United States. The Semi-Final and the Championship Final will be televised live in Canada on CBC. You may also want to check the listings for BOLD, as they are planning to carry a few Canadian games during the round robin as well.

Tokens
The Broken Broom Lounge will only accept tokens for all alcohol sales. There will be two locations in the lounge where tokens can be purchased. Several stands in the main arena will also accept tokens where indicated.

VIP Transportation
During the event, the VIP transportation office is available for our VIP guests. Their office is located on the North side of the Main Concourse for immediate assistance. A phone number for dispatch will be distributed to all VIP guests in advance.
